Supplements

It is important for women to maintain nutritional balance in order to improve endurance and stamina. Female athletes can optimize their performance by understanding their body's needs and investing in their lifelong health. Through a specific wellness program, women can be assured that they are not putting anything harmful into their body, but filling it up with nutrients to support such things as healthy bones, hormonal balance, muscle development, fat burning, digestion, brain function, immune system, and weight management.

Five Tips Before You Eat

1. Read:
Read the label. If you can't pronounce it you probably shouldn't eat it.

2. Fresh is best:
Packaged foods always loose a percentage of nutrients. Strive to eat everything in its natural state.

3. Know thyself:
It's important to know what conditions run in your family and get tested. Some physical problems show up later in life. Make sure that you are avoiding foods that your body considers to be poisonous, and filling it with the extra nutrients it needs.

4. Research:
More and more people are taking a multi-vitamin these days. The dilemma is which brand to take! Don't be fooled into buying the cheapest brand, the most expensive brand, the one you were raised on, or even the one that is best marketed. Take the time to understand how your body digests foods and what amounts of each vitamin and mineral it needs to function.

5. Be good:
To yourself, that is. You don't have to resist every single time a piece of chocolate cake is waived in front of you. Remember to do everything in moderation and go ahead and treat yourself to some of your favorite foods.
